The food quality is very good but the food is expensive.
Buffet offers 4-5 options in sabzis in main course which is excellent.
But only one starter and soup for veg and non-veg each which didn't impress me much.
Food is very good but not the best. Brightland serves better food where as
Saj serves food with same quality at much less price.

3. Saj Restaurants (Veg)

This Pure Veg restaurant serves food with very good quality in decent price.
Buffet offers 3-4 options in starters which I liked a lot (my personal liking)
but only two sabzis in main course.

4. Mapro Garden
Location: Mahabaleshwar-Panchgani Road

Over the years, Mapro has become must visit tourist spot in Mahabaleshwar.
The restaurant serves limited food options but food is delectable.

- Strawberry with Cream
The Gardens also host the annual Strawberry Festival where you can
eat some farm-fresh strawberries.
Mapro premises has small nursery and chocolate factory.
Tourists can buy variety of Mapro products from syrups, sauces, jelly, chocolates,
mocktail mixtures and much more.

Grapevine is best restaurant in the Market area. Gapevine serves some delicious and authentic
Parsi, Continental dishes and italian dishes like pasta. Famous dishes are dhansak or
the cinnamon grilled chicken sticks with harissa.
This 6 table restaurant also has a bar.
Grapevine food quality is better than Mapro but Mapro is more popular with the tourists because Grapevine has limited options for vegeterians and may be because of less popular cuisines (Parsi/Continental).
6. Hotel Rajesh
Location: Near S.T. Bus Stand, Mahabaleshwar
Price: Around Rs. 350 per person

Historically, Mahabaleshwar is famous for Gujarati thali.
Hotel Rajesh serves good Gujarati food. But honestly the food is not just Gujarati.
You can expect chinese soup, noodles, punjabi subzi, maharashtrian sweet and puri etc.
Nevertheless the food is good.

8. Hotel Aman

The restaurant is famous for Mughlai and punjabi delicacies.
Famous dishes includes Pahadi-Tanduri Kababs and Tikkas with butter naan.
Kheema pav and Burji pav are also popular with tourists.
Though the restaurant is famous for non-veg food but it also serves veg.
Veg Maharashtrian thali costs around Rs. 200.

I had read that Templeview is famous for Rajashani dishes but
Rajashani dishes were not available when I visited the restaurant recently.
On many websites this restaurant has been rated as the best restaurant in Mahabaleshwar
but it is not.
